Teachers

Karen Hutton, Teacher Hebrew I and Greek I and II

Karen Hutton earned a Bachelor in Art from Williams Baptist College; her minor was Psychology. She also has a Master's in Biblical Studies from Jubilee Christian College. Karen is currently working on a doctorate through Kidron Christian College and Seminary.

 

A born again believer in Jesus for over twenty years, Karen is an ordained licensed minister who has surrendered to the call to preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ. She is interested in learning and studying the Word of God from its original languages.

 

During the past few years, Karen and her husband, Wayne, have been involved in youth ministry and children’s church. They also served as youth pastors for several years.

 

Karen and Wayne live in Imboden, Arkansas. They have two children and two grandchildren.

 

Karen owns a florist business and teaches art classes.

 

The Huttons are interested in foreign missions and in supporting the nation of Israel.

Wayne Hutton, Teacher Film, Media, and Editing

Wayne Hutton received an Associate’s Degree in Biblical Studies from Kidron Christian College and Seminary, where he is currently working on a bachelor’s degree. 

 

Wayne has done video editing for the television program An Abundance of Grace as well as for several classes at Jubilee Christian College. 

 

Interested in learning and studying the Word of God in its original languages, Wayne recently surrendered to the call to preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Currently serving as a church elder, Wayne has previously served as a youth pastor and has been involved in children’s ministry. He was born again as a teen at church camp.

 

​Wayne Hutton has served in the United States Army and as a police officer. He earned his journeyman’s license and later his master electrician’s license at Black River Technical College and is currently employed by Long Electric.

 

Wayne and wife Karen live in Imboden, Arkansas. They have two children and two grandchildren.

Pam Thurman, Associate Professor in Creative Writing

Pam Thurman holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Arkansas State University, a diploma from Rhema Bible Training Center Correspondence School, and a certificate for Biblical Hebrew 1 from eTeacher.

 

She has written articles for and has edited numerous church newsletters and bulletins. She has written training manuals and other technical materials.

 

A Christian for many years, she has taught Sunday school and a weekly Bible class. She has composed several songs.
